Jash started contemporary dance under the tutelage of Dan Kwoh in Serangoon Junior College when he was 18 and in dTEAM V&VI. He then went on to discover krump under Michelle when he was 20.

He further his studies in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) for a diploma in dance where he got opportunities to perform in NAFA Crossings 2018 and 2020, working with choreographer Gillian Tan, Dr Filomar Tariao, Lionel Araya and Ezekiel Oliveira. Also da:ns Festival: The Third Space 2018 and 2019 where he was given the chance to work with Ming Poon, Gillian Tan and Hwa Wei-an. He was also invited to ASWARA for Tari dance festival 2019 at Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

Being greatly influenced by contact improvisation, his works revolves around the idea of contact improvisation. One of his piece “Head above water” was presented at the National Gallery Singapore in 2019. He also performed in a duet collaboration with Mandy Tan titled "Only in darkness we search for light" in Phenomenon 2 hosted by Peter Gn in Esplanade Library in 2019. He was also invited by National Gallery Singapore to collaborate with an Indian poet for poetry festival in 2020. He was also given an opportunity to collaborate with theatre practitioners titled ‘Getah’ choreographed by Johanna which was presented in p7isma in 2019.

He also participated in dSPACE Concourse 2019: This Fleeting Sense... where he got opportunities to perform "Before we forget" by Dan Kwoh and "Through the dust...?" by Kwek Yixuan.
