The DANSTUDIO Performance Training Program offers a comprehensive and holistic approach to contemporary dance, tailored for dancers who are passionate about learning, improving their technique, and expanding their artistic expression. This program fosters a nurturing and dynamic environment where dancers can grow both technically and creatively.

The focus of this program is on deepening dance knowledge and technique, while providing ample opportunities for dancers to explore and refine their artistry through performances. Dancers are given the chance to showcase their progress in front of live audiences, gaining valuable stage experience through various performance platforms, including the DANSTUDIO Annual Dance Production. This signature event highlights the talents of our dancers and offers them a unique opportunity to perform on a grand scale.

In addition to the annual production, dancers will also experience performances in iconic venues such as the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre, known for its vibrant atmosphere and youthful energy. These performance opportunities allow dancers to immerse themselves in real-world contexts, where they can apply their training and develop their stage presence. With a strong emphasis on technique, performance, and personal growth, the DANSTUDIO Performance Training Program helps dancers develop the skills, confidence, and artistic maturity they need to thrive in both their dance practice and future artistic endeavors.

The programme is jointly taught by DANSTUDIO’s founder and director, Mr Dan Kwoh, as well as the DANSTUDIO faculty teachers. The programme is also split into two age groups, between 9 – 12 and 13 – 18, to cater to the level and background of each dancer.
